Photograph taken in Florence within a stone's throw of the Duomo. Reflections fascinate me, especially because the surrounding buildings add to the atmosphere from a different angle. Street life with a touch of the romantic or the mystic of the area.

This monotype is an intaglio or photogravure print on Arches 88 paper with Akua ink. Two plates were printed for the background and then the image of the reflection was printed on top. Washi tape was added on both the right and left along with collage material. A printed scrap on the left, a piece of antique letter at the bottom and an intaglio print on antique receipt scrap at the top right. This original comes framed with a four-inch white border and a black metal frame. making it approximately 25 width x 22 height with the frame.
